Amerikansk bröllopsbål
Ingredients
12 sockerbitar
2 dl konjak
2 dl apelsinlikör
500 g färska jordgubbar eller gröna vindruvor
3 flaskor sodavatten
6 flaskor torr champagne
isblock, ca 1 liter
6 skivade apelsiner
Instructions
Kyl champagnen och sodavatten. Lägg sockerbitarna i en stor bålskål. Häll konjak och apelsinlikör över och låt det dra i en kvart.
Skölj jordgubbarna, som halveras om de är för stora. Om man använder vindruvor ska de först sköljas, halveras och kärnas ur. Lägg bären i skålen och vänd dem försiktigt i lagen.
Strax före serveringen ska isblocket läggas i skålen som sedan fylls med champagne och sodavatten.
Bålen ska serveras omedelbart i stora glas. Lägg en hel apelsinskiva i varje glas, men kom ihåg att det också kommer jordgubbar eller vindruvor i glasen.
